Deuce, (The): The Mark II Lounge, a popular bar on the border of Evanston which is open until 4am every night.
DGF: (aka Discretionary Gambling Fund) This is a certain amount of money, set aside from summer income, to gamble away in either Vegas or at a sportsbook. Money placed in this fund is kept at a small amount, to prevent catastrophic losses. Besides, we all know that Northwestern students and gambling only go together if you're playing a varsity sport.
Hammies: Hamiltons Lounge, a Loyola bar which is popular on Thursday nights.
schwank: To take another item for one owns personal use. The act of securing public property for private use.
Vegas: A road trip to a casino. Popular vegas destinations are Elgin (Home of the #1 rated riverboat casino in the US) and the Potawatomi Casino in Milwaukee.
vegas, baby, vegas.:A suggestion to go on a road trip to Vegas, an expression to be made upon sight of Vegas, random acts of gambling. (pop culture reference: the movie, Swingers.)
